na, don't even do that. just destroy it and never reply. as long as it wasn't certified mail they can't prove you ever received it.

Just walk in ... if you don't go they will fine your or some shit....

Just go in and when the judge is talking about the case and asks if you know the person then raise your hand.. be like its my brothers friend.. or when they ask if you're willing to stay for 4 weeks of jury duty stand up and sign out..

Fuck jury duty, I was summoned twice, First time I went like an idiot, COMPLETE waste of time, got up early.. was in traffic, was there since 7am until 2pm. The whole jury selection shit is BORING!

after that you can't be summoned again for 7 months, as soon as it hit 7 months, i was summoned again. I destroyed that letter and they sent me another telling me that jury duty was not optional and I had to call them ASAP. Destroyed that too. Fuck them, they can take me to jail and i still wont go.

There's SO many ways to get out of it, lol. But for you sir, I suggest you just answer all the questions they ask you truthfully and I'm thinking you won't be selected. Most siccness members would be thrown out of jury selection just for being themselves. Anybody who openly disregards it is a dumb ass though. Wait until you're in court for a ticket or some misdemeanor, they gonna slap you with that shit too if the judge don't like you.

Yeah, its a pain in the ass for most normal people... but if you want to sit there and argue for your constitutional rights and NOT show up for jury duty, that just makes you ignorant as fuck.

The prosecution and defense have anywhere between 3 and 7 options to get rid of one of the jurors (depending on what type of case it is). For instance- my brother and I got into a fight on my 22nd birthday. He's military and a government employee. There for, anybody on the jury who might be military and/or a government employee, my attorney would automatically move to be dismissed from the jury simply for the fact that juror might not rule in our favor. I can't remember the term for it though.
