Its called 'let shots loose' or 'who got shot?' its got the hook of sum girl saying "who got shot" in patois, and Hus starts saying i let shots loose.

Who are they talking about at the end of that song? I know they dissing sum eastcoast rappers but i couldnt work out who.

Thats a nice bootleg as sum of those tracks were suposed to be on Harsh Reality and so far we dont know when its gona drop, if ever.
my shit is labeled "track 1, track 2, track 3, etc...."

We all know short has stuck with the same topic. But so does many rappers. Even Yuk, what he sayen any differnet then what he was on his albumalation

And tell me what dope Yuk album after thug testiment? In my eyes everything else after that lack pure quality or classic
yeah i know, im just sayin u cant really associate too short with creativity

Thuglord and Godzilla were both good albums to me, i listen to both of em all the time

this whole argument is stupid. Its all a matter of opinion. There is no way to judge who is better. Some people saying yuk is better some saying face some saying Short. Its all a matter of your own tastes. No need to get all mad if someone dont agree with you

If you put Yuk and Face on a track together at any point of there careers Yuk would outshine him everytime. I would buy a Yuk album before the other 2 also at any point of there careers. Yuk makes that mob shit and thats the shit i like period, it is all matter of opinion but to me the only reason Face and short made bigger impacts is cuz when they were at the beginning of there careers wasnt to many other rappers especially short.

well if you think that yukmouth isn't lyrically better than scarface or too short then you must be smoking base
word...

short and face are dope as fuck, and take the crown in mosts eyes for their overall career.. but if we are talkin strait lyrics, yuk has got it on lock.. thats not really debatable. they are all different styles either way so its cookies

let me point out some things:

1) i am completely aware of the BART forums tendency to blindly dickride and fight in the name of rappers before i made this thread.

2) yuk said "where niggas debate", no one in the fucking world has EVER debated that yuk, short, and scarface are the best. So i said fuck it, and made it a debate.

3) I'm not "hating". I listen to all three but personally, neither three are in my everyday rotation so theres little bias.

4) the thread is little more than a discussion piece, its shouldnt mean anything to you but that. if you think hes better, than say that, but leave the bitch shit out of it.

sure, rappers think theyre the best, but when you go about calling names, and then saying youre NOT last place, that aint gonna read like "i am numba one"

and didnt wayne say hes the best rapper alive since the best rapper retired? thats paying homage. he didnt say 'niggas wonder who the best me tupac or biggie and if you think im last place you smoke crack'

You can always choose to make a better thread, and my thread wont sit at the top all day, as it has.

i like how the entire forum shuck and jived the question and turned it into a battle on lyricism against niggas that been rappin since yall werent born

the term "greatest mc" implies history to me, does it not to you?
for instance, a "greatest hits" album will be an album that encompasses a persons musical career.

if i say your girl has the greatest dome, im saying she blows better than all girls that have sucked me off in the past, and present. im not just saying she can flick her tongue better.

shit wadnt even supposed to be an argument i made the thread for niggas to say who they feel more but i knew bias would become a factor

had i made this in the general hip hop forum it would have got completely different responses. the only reason it became an argument is because niggas is sensitive.

Face and Short are undisputable legends in the rap game... and both have put out at least 3 classic albums...

Yukmouth is a good rapper/lyricist whatever.. honestly though IMO yuk just aint spittin like he used to.. Thugged Out the Albulation was his best shit and each one after that has been gettin worse and worse.. and i've BOUGHT all of'em including the new one.. and i dont even buy a lotta cd's so you know i support yuk.. but he just be talkin out his ass a lot anyway.. to me his best songs were where he was on some deep/real type shit, not flossin or beefin or talkin about how dope he is and how bright his ice is...

if Yuk woulda stayed spittin with that hunger and realness instead of getting caught up tryin to appeal, floss, act hard, all that shit then maybe i could put him in the category as a legend, but his shit is disappointing as hell now...

but if we talkin lyricists shit we could list a lot of people saying shit like Crooked I is better than Tupac was cuz he got more metaphors and rhyme schemes.. but when we talkin about rappin and makin music and expression is a whole different thing than rhymin words together

^^^ TO ME YUK SPITS A LOT CLEANER NOW, THAT GRIMEY RASPY VOICE SHIT WAS COO' BUT NOW HE HAS ONE OF THE CLEANEST FLOWS THERE IS. FACE AND SHORT YEAH THERE LEGENDS CUZ OF WHEN THEY CAME OUT AND HOW BIG IT WAS FOR EACH OF THEM TO REPRESENT THERE AREAS AT THE TIME. IF YOU PUT ALL 3 ON A TRACK YUK WILL OUTSHINE THEM PERIOD.

^ wow. its crazy some people think like that. but i guess some peopel DO put yuk with the greats? (bay area people)

nah, if i made a poll, in the bart forum.....i already know the deal

there would be alot of twisting the question (60 percent would have voted for yuk because they think the question is whos the better lyricist) alot of people would vote for yuk just because they like him in a present sense..but that dosent judge who the greatest is....

i dont know where lyricist came into play, as we all know too short has a old school rhyme style as hes from the old school days of rap. so voting lyrics wise against a what, 25 year vet in rap....thats like putting busta against kool moe dee or some shit....sure bustas better lyrically but he wouldnt cross that boundry because he knows who laid the groundwork before him.

now if you arent old enough to appreciate what too short has done and you grew up on yuk like i prolly grew up on short, thats cool...but once again i wanna say i dont thnk yuk would have existed if it wasnt for too short doing what he did in oakland, rap wise.

and like another person said, yuk's lyrical heat has fell off the flame as of late....yuk has a good delivery and voice and in most cases that makes him sound dope, not necessarily his lyrics all the time. i personally threw out million dollar mouthpiece and went back to listening to godzilla, which wasnt great by any means, but it was good.

IMO yuk's dvds (united ghettos of america) and soundtracks, have been better than some of his albums.
