well to me its seems E-40 is back not the BAY so much i realy dont see any bay cats getting any big deals just a couple of tv time SLOTS like MY BLOCK AND HYPHE ON HYPHE WHICH WAS MOSTLY BOUT 40 ON BET LIKE WHEN HOUSTON STARTED TO BLOW HIT STARTED WITH MIKE JONES THEN PAUL WALL SLIM THUG SO ON AND ON LIKE A DOMINOE EFFECT RIGHT NOW ITS ALL BOUT 40 NO ONE ELSE REALY FROM THE BAY

edit: and to correct you, quite a few bay rappers just got "big deals", but ill let the onslaught of people who will hate on you and your thread tell it.

I think the bay is well on the way to being back, but I ain't heard of any big deals. Shit keak ain't signed to a major. Ya boy is workin wit game and is makin money but he's not signed to blackwallstreet. FAB ain't been signed yet. He's still on Thizz. No one besides 40 and the feds have signed contracts. This being said I still think that in the next 6 months a lot will happen. A lot of deals are going to get signed and a lot of bay rappers are going to get put on. We ain't back yet but I'm already knowin that it's comin.

Real talk this is the most exposer the bay has got in years, they got bay rappers on allhiphop.com, Source, Vibe, Bet, Mtv and that Yahoo pass the mic shit too. E-40 leading the way since he the most well known and got Lil'Jon behind him.

If 2006 & 2007 aint a good two years then i dont think the bay will be coming back for a next decade. All eyes are on the bay to see if all this big talk is actually backed up by skill and selling power.

jus turn on mtv2 and you'll see how much the bay is back you gon see Keak- SuperHyphy, Keak and turf talk- 3 freaks, Too Short- blow the whistle, Too short in the kelis video and the T-paine remix video.. but yea i agree wit u it is mostly 40 but the rest is comin behind him

E-40 could get his own tv show, his own tv station, a movie deal, sell 20 million copies, get his own clothing line, his own brand of carlo rossi, his own condom, his own type of now n laters, and cats on this board would still think hes not doin it big.
