that nigga dre is like the west coast puffy, i don't know why artist fucc w/ him. shit puffy is like the don king of rap, or is that suge?

Rakim wasn't gonna be put out on Aftermath. The rap game is wide open right now, you got all these new niggas comin out, they're not really talented but they are selling records, so he's tryin' to stay w/ "what's in". Dre's a business man so he's not considered about who's the better artist, all he's considered about is who's selling records. If you wanna be real, Rakim was just someone to fall bacc on, the game is too competitve right now for Dre to drop him. He's tryin' to feed off these new niggas.

No, he had to fight to get off Aftermath. Dre dont give a fuck about anything but a bottom line, so he'd rather see an Obie-fucking-Trice album get put out than a Rakim album
SO TRU

BUT IT WAS NICE JUST TO SEE HIS NAME OUT THERE SO THESE BABYS KNOW WHAT HIS FACE LOOK LIKE...BUT THAT WON'T PAY HIS BILLS

if rakim was droppin something that was gonna sell, he wouldnt have been shelved, AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE. YOU CAN CRITICIZE DRE ALL YOU WANT.

i honestly trust dre's judgement. like i said, if it was gonna put another ferrari in his garage he would have dropped it. believe you me, rakim is the last artist i would want this to happen to. ive been waiting on the dre/rakim project longer than anyone. tadou, your argument would hold more weight if you werent so adamantly anti aftermath/shady
