I kind of feel what he's saying though. There is a time and place for ignorance/over the top slang/ebonics and other ghetto antics. Upscale parties and in the place of business is not the place or time. It's the same shit as using foul language around your friends, then cleaning up the way you talk when going to work or talking to a stranger.

man, my job is to type in proper english. if i spell shit wrong or even type in the wrong schematics, i could get fired. if i dont do that shit online when im at this message board, whatever. but im the best speller at my job with fucking groups of older people, everyone asks me how to spell, i had to explain the youre versus your thing, all that.

but puerto ricans or mexicans asians etc are fare game
