With the hyphy movement comes a style like no other in the country, but is this a good thing or bad thing? The whole yellow bus thing? goin dumb? ghost riding? whats you take on it all, is it helping the Bay get back on the map? Or is it making us look stupid and making it harder for us to be accepted on a national level?

i'm suprised this commercialized hyphy "movement" has been around as long as it has....hyphy was coo back when it was an extension of mob music...you had all types of dope releases droppin like Keak the sneak(Copium) Messy Marv (Disobayish) San Quinn (I Give You My Word) and gang of other albums...

most of this commercialized "crunk" sounding shit is kinda wack, it's slowly dying out though and you're starting to see more modern day mob music from people like the mob figaz, killa kiese, ya boy, j stalin, clyde carson, turf talk, etc....

It's already been set in motion. It's not like we can call it back now.

As far as it being good it has it's moments. There are dozens of youtube vids with people GHOST RIDING like tards. So we have been recognized in that sense.
