Ok So I like to get faded from time to time...
I am a very moral man EXPECT for this..

I don;t do hookers.. or crack.. or rob.. etc.

But I like to get faded once in a while?
Is this a terrible sin?

And if so explain why. I don't want to here because it is.

There is a reason for everything.

Also 99% of the people on earth don't do what is required to be in God's kingdom.. so does this mean that NO one will be there...

beause I honestly don't know one person who lives by the bible 100%

I think god can let me getting faded slide.. right??? RIGHT!!???

hahah my high ass thought you was talkin about gettin a haricut and i was like ah shit murda done went over the top now.....lol....but yeah if you cut your hair you might go to hell cuz jesus and moses kept they dreads shakin nigga!!!!!

jesus also made wine and moses talked to burnin bushes so i think well get by well enough murda.....

Most Christians in my experience do not understand the basic philosophy behind what consistutes a sin and why. Most of them simply refer to individual verses to determine each individual thing that is considered sinful.

That philosophy I am talking about states that God is the controller and enjoyer of all, and to sin is for us to presume as though we are controllers and/or enjoyers. In other words, seeking one's own sense gratification by eating a candy bar is sinful just as is smoking ganja for enjoying the experience, or having sex for the primary reason of pleasure. A lot of people (including Christians) don't like this philosophy because they are somewhat still more attached to their own enjoyment. A common misconception is that this philosophy is saying that enjoyment is entirely bad and we should instead seek out suffering. All this philosophy is saying is that we should not seek enjoyment for ourselves, independently, but that we should seek to render devotional service toward God. And by doing so, we receive enjoyment by natural reciprocation. More specifically, we should engage the mind and body in serving God rather than serving this material nature; or as the Bible puts it, rather than serving "mammon".

I agree and disagree; I agree that serving self is no different than "mammon", however I don't believe the Bible is against self-gratification. It merely stresses servitude and love before self-gratification.

Well, what do you mean by "self-gratification"? I explained that this philosophy is not saying that one should reject enjoyment, but that one should not work toward that endeavor. Ideally, one should work for the sake of pleasing God.

Also, even if the Bible does not directly state this, Christians must accept this philosophy otherwise they are rejecting the premise, which states that God is the Supreme Enjoyer and that we are meant to be in constant, direct reciprocation with Him. Someone who disagrees with this premise is automatically not a Christian.

One thing I noticed is that the Bible thumpers and fundamentalists are the most hypocritical and unhappy of believers. One preacher's son who is a fundamentalist wouldn't got out to eat with me and a bunch of classmates at a casino because gambling was involved in the building. He wouldn't talk about sex or girls because it was considered lust. I was just waiting to find something about him that wasn't godly. One thing he did like to do was watch movies. He even said he loved movies. He even watched R-rated movies with violence and sex and enjoyed these movies. Nobody is perfect no matter how hard you try.

I live my life according to a passage in the Bible that sums up the reality of livng the Christian life. Ecclesiates 7:15-18. Basically don't be too good or too bad. Balance is the key. Put God first and you will be straight.

exactly, when you do things for yourself then you get used to only doing things for reward and life becomes in control of you and your perspective.
You must learn to do things just to do them, and an even better practice is to do things to please God.
you will feel good about yourself, and be in control of your full life.
