All I'm saying is that imo he's borderline for a couple of reasons. 1st wins and 2nd is the fact that he pissed off a lot of people that have to vote him in. And why can't I compare Gibson vs Schilling? It's done all the time in sports. I'd even take Maddox over Curt. Blyleven and Morris ain't in so Schilling should have to wait til they get in. That's my point.

Then Andy Pettite should make the HOF too? 18-7 in the postseason and has 4 rings.

I just thought it was an odd comparison, man. I had never heard of Gibson.. because he played in the 60s lol. No, I didnt watch baseball back then. I started watching baseball in the early 90s (when I was 10-11).
Gibson and Schilling were dudes that didn't take shit from no one that's why I made the comparison . Morris and Blyleven were both VERy VERY good pitchers. I understand that most of y'all never watched tehm pitch, but there is no way that Schilling should get in before them.

You see what he does in playoffs? You see what he does WHEN IT MATTERS?
if that were the case should we let in every .500 World Series hitter just because he hit over .500? even though he is a career .220 hitter with no power.......

Hersheiser single handedly beat the Mets in 88 NLCS and also went 59 straight.....does that make him a HOF'er?????

Schilling at 216 wins is not a hall of famer!

Mussina at 273? is not either, Schilling was a very good pitcher but he was looked at for roids how soon we forget, and the bottom line is he dose not have the numbers, hell there are 300 game winners not in the hall.

And stop with the bloody sock garbage, he had a scratch on his ankle big deal; there are guys that play the game with broken bones and life threatening diseases.

And less we not forget his mouth probably his worst enemy, I think most fans regardless of their teams, can look at a pitchers numbers and over all performance and come up with a logical vote on hall of fame worthiness.
