Is a license required to purchase a new car?

We're trying to buy a new car but put it under my girls name who doesn't have her L's. I'm between jobs and I know some bullshit will probably come up so that's why I want her to get it. Anyway if anyone knows, speak on it.

im pretty sure you need a liscence, because they need to provide the initial insuance so your covered when you leave the lot plus the liscencing with the state.

why dont you put it under your name then transfer the title?

yeah i dunno cuz like they already saying you need the full coverage insurance so they gonna ask for license when they get to that part.....i been trying to think of ways around this myself since my license is suspended....the amount id have to pay to get my l's bacc would be a nice down payment on a car.....
