Iran: Giant achievements coming soon

Ahmadinejad: On February 11, Islamic Republic's nuclear rights 'will be established'

"Giant achievements" by Iran will be unveiled by its president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in the coming days, the Iranian Fars news agency reported on Saturday.

The Iranian news agency said an upcoming dramatic announcement on Iran's nuclear "rights" would be made on February 11. The report was accompanied by a series of announcements heralding alleged Iranian technological and medical breakthroughs, including an "AIDS cure."

Ahmadinejad's "administration is going to publicize the country's remarkable progresses and achievements within the coming days," the Fars news agency said.

"The Iranian president also reiterated that February 11 is the day when the Iranian nation's inalienable right to access and use nuclear technology will be established," the agency added.

"The Iranian nation will celebrate stabilization and establishment of its nuclear rights during the Ten-Day Dawn, (sic)" Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying. The "ten-day dawn" in early February marks the date of the Islamic revolution in Iran in 1979.

"When a nation decides to stand on its own feet to climb up the peaks, God helps it and that nation will embrace victory," Ahmadinejad said.

The Iranian government's boasts of "great achievements" included an announcement on Saturday that Iranian scientists have "introduced an AIDS cure".

"After seven long years of arduous work, Iranian scientists here on Saturday introduced a herbal medicine which cures Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS)," Fars reported.

"The drug named 'IMOD' is completely effective and safe with no proven side effects," Iran's Minister of Health Kamran Bagheri Lankarani claimed during a ceremony.

"The world should know today that the capable Iranian nation, relying on its own youths and scientists, has now conquered the peaks of knowledge and science," Ahmadinejad declared during his speech.

if they really do...that would be great...but the question is...what would the U.S. have to say about it?..or will the U.S. try to stop them?...another thing is..the U.S. does want to stop them from making this type of advancements.....I still believe AIDS is a man made virus...

That would be great but we should all remain skeptical until these "achievements" are reveled.

Keep in mind, this isn't the first time we've heard of an AIDS cure from a world leader:

19 Janauary 2007
Gambian President Yahya Jammeh, claims he can cure HIV/AIDS and asthma, and would start treating 10 people living with HIV at his residence here Thursday, State House officials said.

"Since 1994, there are many Gambians who know what I can do. A lot of people have been treated in silence and under conditions of strict confidentiality," Jammeh was quoted as telling a gathering at the State House Thursday.

"I am not speculating on my medicine. There are living witnesses to what my medicine can do.

"Now, I have the mandate to cure people publicly. I can treat asthma and HIV/AIDS. Within three days the person should be tested again and I can tell you that he/she will be (HIV) negative," he added.

Related:

A claim by Gambian President Yahya Jammeh that he can cure Aids in three days has been lambasted by a leading South African HIV/Aids specialist.
"I'm astonished. The danger of a president standing up [to say this] is shocking," Jerry Coovadia told the BBC.

Mr Jammeh said last month he had begun treating 10 patients on Thursdays with secret medicinal herb ingredients.

His health minister backs his claims, saying in trials so far patients had gained weight and physically improved.

"I can treat asthma and HIV/Aids... Within three days the person should be tested again and I can tell you that he/she will be negative," he said in a statement.

The US would/will say it's not a real cure. The US and Israel are probably going to start bombing them soon. I think it's great what Iran is doing.

And I somewhat agree that AIDS is man made. I still have to do more reading on the subject, but to me it's just another gov't method of population control (of a population that is the minority as well--gays, blacks, mexican, etc etc).

Whoever thought up that story about a man fucking a monkey was on some mushrooms or some shit...or maybe coke? that's a popular drug w/ politicians...

of course the U.S. will say it's not a real cure, I'm pretty sure the U.S. has the cure for AIDS but do they want to use it? NO! And population control is really real, I think they already starting to do it in Texas with the mandatory vaccines they trying to get all females to take before they reach the age of 20...

If AIDS is man made, shouldn't man be able to make a cure for it?

Shouldn't anything that man makes also be something that man is capable of destroying?

Im sure there is a cure that is just not being released whether AIDS is manmade or not. They make more money through the treatment of AIDS than they ever will of a cure, same goes for Cancer...

Yes, there should be a cure. But why would you want to cure something that helps you control the amount of people there are in a populous?

We can destroy pretty much anything and everything we create. But there are people who have more power and control than others, which leads to lack of truth and knowledge, as well as forced immunizations....

An RFID is the size of a grain of sand, I guaran-FUCKING-tee you could put one of those in a seringe, and then "immunize" someone.

My girl's chiropracter had this poster about how immunizations are bullshit, and they are just a way to give people diseases, not to "cure" them...it was interesting, but I can't explain it in the detail that I saw it, so it won't be as meaningful to anyone else....

ok, so millions of people in africa can now be cured of aids, now there will be more able bodied people to fight a civil war, hoorayyyyyy!!!!!!!

seriously, what are you gonna do with all these people now that they will survive when you already cant feed the existing people??!?! anyone?!?!
We're going to "try to make it work" because that's what American does.

Even IF there is a cure, it won't be released. As said above, they make way more money treating this shit, than they ever would giving someone a cure one time.

We live in a Capitalist nation you fuckers. MONEY IS THE PRIMARY MOTIVATION FOR EVERYTHING. That's the FUCKING NATURE of CAPITALISM.

Of course somebody will try to stop the cure of aids. Why? For money purposes and overpopulation purposes, that's what they believe......
