ipod question

could anyone tell me the difference b/t 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th generation ipods? is there that much of a difference?

the 1st and 2nd have alot of bugs that were fixed in the 3rd and 4th gen...i wouldn't get anything below a 3rd just for that reason...as far as difference between the 3rd and 4th, as far as i know it's just memory and button layout...the 3rd gen has the rev, menu, pause/play, and fwd buttons above the scroll pad, and the 4th gen is like the old ones where those buttons are built into the scroll pad...
