4) You cannot replace the battery on an iPod. If you look inside most computer magazines (I get MacWorld), then you will see advertisements for both battery additions and battery replacements. You can choose to do it yourself, or send it in, but the company may erase your iPod.
Even for the Ipod video? I know you can for all the other Ipods, but I have read on several different sites that you cannot replace the battery on video Ipods (or the Zen video).

Yes, it is, iPod Video 60gb's are the best mp3 players, period.

Creative Zen has jack SHIT on iPods. I have two creative zen's, the original that came out a couple years back next to the ipod mini's, and the new version that holds a lot and can do video. They are the silver medalist for sure, but anyone who thinks theyre better than an ipod is just being biased and doesnt really know what theyre talking about.

Ive used my iPod video at least 1,000 hours in the past 2 months, never a problem, always bomb as hell.

And I still fucking hate Apple.

I haven't needed to replace it yet, seeing as they just came out. I would venture that no one has really needed to yet. I'll do some research and get back to you.

unless you have super hearing, and top of the line speakers, you aren't going to hear the difference between high quality encoded mp3s and cd's

No it's because they sound like shyt, and are compressed files & lose data, they're not the same...just like tapes and cd's aren't the same, etc.

here's an older article that touches on it a little bit:

lol wtf

only way you can tell the difference between a high quality mp3 and a CD is if you're a dog

stop.

Sorry if this gets posted a lot. I didn't know it was that common. Thanks for all the info. I think I'm going to have to cop one pretty soon. I just gotta figure out how to hook it up to my car stereo because that's the most important thing to me.....
