Today I got the chance to sit down with my Based Brother, Lil B of The Pack. We discuss The Pack, Too Short, Travis Barker and leading a postive lifestyle! Sit back and enjoy and learn first hand how to be BASED!!! And get the first listen to Lil B's newest single with Too Short, Ass On Deck!!

Beads- Lets start off with the foundation of it all. What's going on with The Pack?

Lil B- The Pack is now working on our new album and getting ready to drop our next mixtape "Wolf pack Musik, Screaming Demons". So we are just working hard trying to get famous.

Beads-You guys have had so much success at such a young age, how does it feel to be living your dreams?

Lil B- It feels real good to be living my dream and being able to touch people across the world. I feel it’s my job to be around the world and meet people and promote positivity and my music around the world.

Beads- I’ve witnessed the success first hand. How does it feel to go out of state and sell out shows and get love nationwide.

Lil B- Man it’s beautiful to sell out shows and to travel, you learn something new every time you hit the road. So I love this life

Beads- A lot of people lump Bay Area artists into one group, but what makes you guys different?

Lil B- We set our own styles and make our own rules. What separates us from other artist is that we are "BASED".

Beads- Late last year The SS Mixtape came out. When can we expect Volume 2?

Lil B- The SS Mixtape Vol.2 will be huge and much better then the first. And people love that one. So we have been working hard just making it happen.

Beads- Now that we've touched on the group stuff, lets get into your solo stuff. What can we expect from your mixtape?

Lil B- What you can expect from my mixtape is "Based Knowledge" and seeing a new perspective from my eyes. I see the world and it’s so crazy. So I want people to hear what I’m thinking and feeling.
I speak for a lot of people, men and women.

Beads- You have a much more laid back flow but still maintain your energy, do you think that adds a good dimension to The Pack.

Lil B- Yea I think it does. I think my flows brings The Pack to another level.

Beads- Who in the future should we expect to see you on tracks with?

Lil B- Man in the future it’s a lot of people I wanna work with. Right now I’m talking to Spank Rock.

Beads- Tell us about your relationship with Travis Barker and Famous Stars and Straps.

Lil B- Shout out to Lil C, Felix and the whole Famous crew. Travis blessed me with a beat that was a hit. All I could do was put my magic upon it and see where it can go. Now its the Famous anthem!

Beads- We all know that Too Short helped launch your career, but he was not on Based Boys. But on your new single, Ass On Deck, we hear Too Short. what can we expect from The Pack and Short Dogg in the future?

Lil B- Man we got some music and mixtapes with Short coming out so just stay tuned.

Beads- Some of us know that you have a book coming out. What can you let us know about that?

Lil B- The book is called The Based Bible and I’m in the process of writing and completing it. But it’s just going to be my viewpoints, experiences and perspectives on life.

Beads- Aside from all the music stuff you are one of the most positive people I know. You always interact with your fans and always promote positive actions.
Can you explain why you take this approach. Especially in an industry where 90% of the artists try to be super gangsters.

Lil B- I promote positivity because I lived the life and I saw where it can lead my people. My people is the world. So I wouldn’t want to lead people into harm. Just learn from me and try to live the best you can.

Beads- Before we wrap this up, are there any shout outs or anything else we should know.

Lil B- Shout out to Beads and Hip Hop Ream!!
And look out for the biggest music community coming soon!!
