I wouldn't expect to hear people saying that around me, since I'm here in the States. The ones that probably weren't exposed to Tech prior to those collaborations, yet became a fan after them, would be the fans of those artists. Thus meaning, people from their area of the world, ones I don't pass on the street, if you catch my drift.

I'm not trying to say that the collaboration with Ceza caused all the fans he may have over there in Turkey to instantly become Tech fans or that collaboration instantly made Tech's name over there a success. However, one could say that it's the groundwork for getting your name over there in the fact you had someone from over there look you up to work with it.

^I can only speak as far as Geist (and I know that song hasn't even come out yet) but that is one collab that isn't going to get Tech any new fans on this side of the pond. I'd never heard of the man until the news came out that he'd done a song with Tech, and I have never heard about him since. The guy is a ghost, a total non-entity over here.

The Figgkidd track "I Gotta Know" did extremely well here.. even to the point of having mainstream radio play and getting on the charts.. I know they played the video quite a bit on cable and free-to-air television on various music shows.. but I don't think it did anything in the way of getting new fans for Tech N9ne.. for the most part he was overlooked because he didn't appear in the actual video in my mind, plus the fact fans aren't automatically drawn in one collaboration generally.. I guess Australian's seeem to be drawn to there own artists and are praised to high heaven, hence the popularity of I Gotta Know..

lol i own that cd..twice :p ^^ its no way close to wat ur saying... figg kidd isnt popular and that track isnt either unless your a figg kidd fan... aussie rap lovers frown on figgs universal language he uses instead of the usual absolute crap lingo shit other aussie rappers do...

there wouldve been a tiny group of people who wouldve had there first glance of tech because of that cd
