I was on wikipedia and searched for info on Tech and here is an interesting tidbit it had...

Tech's only song with 2Pac, "Thugs Get Lonely Too" was to be featured on Shakur's album Loyal to the Game in 2004. Death Row Records contacted Tech and still wanted him to record his verse so they could put the song together. This song was leaked but was never put out nationally. The song would then end up on Loyal To The Game and was edited by Eminem to remove Tech's verse and feature Nate Dogg instead of Tech N9ne.

...kinda messed up on Em's part in my opinion because that exposure could've really helped Tech reach a wider audience. I dunno if ya'll knew this so my bad if so. Anyway, what do ya'll think about this?

Death Row had nothing to do with Tech being on it? QDIII got him to lay down a verse back when Tech was living with him out in Cali. :\

You got to hear the song, 2Pac's Verse sounds shitty. Eminem slowed it down so much that 2Pac sounds retarded. So i guess that EM did Tech a favor there.

1. This is old news.

2. The reason that there is no guest rapper on the song is because there were already 3 2pac verses for the song.

3. Nate Dogg on the hook is better than the original hook (commercially speaking) even though it would have been better if the hook said something relevent to the title of the song.

4. I am still upset that Tech was taken off the song. I was hoping for Tech to re-rap his verse and have it mixed over the new instrumental and release it on a mixtape or something.

5. Yes, 2Pacs verses were slowed doen and they didn't sound as good. Eminem should have produced the beat to match the tempo of the song.

6. Nate Dogg was famous way before this song ever came out.

7. Eminem was set to be on Everready befor the song came out.

Feel free to rip me a new one. I'm sure some of you will hate, and some of you will agree.

Not to mention that he was spose to be on She Devil which was 2002 (or before depending on when it was actually recorded) which is well before this Pac project was in the works :\

And y'all act as though Tech being "Removed" from the song is this huge crime. Did you all ever stop to think? The song was done by Pac back before or around '93 (he even performed it live atleast once back in '93)

When Tech was living out with QDIII and Q had some Pac material laying around (I think they was working on R U Still Down at the time?) Q got Tech to drop a verse. Nothing more.

While yes, it would have been nice to see Tech on the CD (if the song didn't get fucked over and stayed decent), but you all need to seriously quite whining about this... cause technically, Tech is no better then 50 Cent. 50 was added on after Pac's passing.................. well, so was Tech. What of it?

not quite sure but i think there might be a possibility that the verse tech did at QDIII's never left his studio... so the tracks Em got to mix didnt even have Tech on it. better check on it if you think this is important... just a feeling somebody mighta said something like that on here.

another thing, even pac's own crew didn't know tech was supposed to be on that song originally. they thought tech just went in and did it as a marketing shceme and leaked it to the net. there was an interview on the top of the siccness page where they talked about that. and tech cleared things up on this forum about it. if somebody wants to find the thread go for it
------------
here's one thread that nick explains this a little bit

http://www.siccness.net/vb/showthread.php?t=132224
--------------
there was also a thread were tech had something to say about the claims that the outlaws made

-----------------------------
here, i found tech's reply:

http://www.siccness.net/vb/showthread.php?t=134184

so no more speculation

This thread is crap.

Tech did a verse for the song, it was played on Cali radio stations, one of them being the beat. Tech met Pac on a couple of occasions, one of which Pac said they should do some work together. When QDIII gave Tech the opportunity to do so he did. But it did make Cali radio, before it ever hit the net. Pac did record 3 verses for the song but that isnt unusual, for a verse to be dropped for a guest spot. I have a partner that used to skate with Tech all the time back in the day (yes rollerskate) has a video tape of Tech on Stage performing Questions with towel in his hand, in all black, I believe in 1995, he swore up and down to me that Tech was opening a show for Death Row, of which Pac was in the line up for. I saw the tape, saw some banners in the background, and still was in question about the validity of the story. I asked Tech and he said it was true, he said he opened a few shows while living in Cali the first time. So I seriously doubt that Pac would have objected. In my opinion that is.
