Everytime I listen to an interview from a gangsta rapper it's filled with ......uh......uh....know what i mean.........see what i'm saying.......and one dude always sounds like he's trying to put too much bass in his voice, breathing all hard and shit. There's hardly any information in it and all i hear is nigga nigga nigga. Haven't we progressed farther than that ? If I had a chance to do an interview it would be full of stories and information and it wouldn't be boring at all like the ones I've heard lately.

Ice Cube...I am pretty sure he has an engineering degree from the University of Arizona, too. Coolio has always been articulate. 2Pac came across as an extremely intelligent person, he was pist off a lot so it didn't show as much, but in a lot of interviews he was on point. KRS-1, he's not really a "gangsta rapper" but he is very articulate.

It's like yeah dude everybody knows you're hard and you've been to jail but come on, tell us what's up with other shit. Yeah yeah 50 Cent is a snitch.................yeah yeah i got a diss track to The Game.......what muhfuckas haven't learned is if you get into dissin a dude and get destroyed, you're career can be put at a standstill such as Ja Rule and Benzino. Benzino still gets his money on through the source mag but for a minute there he almost destroyed the magazines credibility too with his personal attacks on Eminem.

It's not a case of intellegent, most of these rappers sound like they have half a missing brain. No1 is asking them to hold a Phd lecture, they just can't hold a normal conversation.

I heard DJ Quik went on the Weakest Link a while back and won the show by a huge margin, some people on anotehr board a while back watched the show and said he knew most of the answers. I wonder tho which rappers actually have at least a Bachelors degree.

I get clowned from time to time because I am pretty articulate myself. I'm by no means a scholar, in fact my grades were pretty shitty in school, but that was just because I never did my homework. I paid attention in class and did well on tests, but people always say shit like I think I'm smarter than them...simply because I can articulate what I'm trying to say with words bigger than fuck, shit and bitch

Alot of these rappers are afraid to be themselves...afraid they won't sound "street" enough. But being street doesn't mean being stupid...only stupid artist think that.

Nas sounds "smart" in his raps, but dude is the kink of "uh...um...know what I'm sayin..." Jay-Z, Tupac, Ice Cube, Paris, Easy-E, Ice-T, Ice Cube, David Banner...these guys SOUND deeper then just, "I'ma hood nigga doin my thang...". Some of the "dumber" sounding rappers...50cent, (sorry yall) Yuck, Ying Yang Twins...and a shit load more. I think that the game is missing the element of inteligence, I think that the rap game has gone from artist like NWA, Tupac, Public Enemy, KRS-1, Paris and a host of other artist with a message to everybody wanting to get "crunk", "go dumb" or be "super thug". It's all about acting a fool now and well...that's not really a good look for the artist. It's almost like the "smart" artist have to hide the fact that they can think with a clear mind...All of the songs that was gangsta like "Fuck The Police", "Hustla", "Soildger Story" and "Fight The Power" were about problems in the inner city...now...all the popular artist are talking about getting high, killin people, or acting a fucking nut. The rap game is taking hugh steps backwards...THIS IS TO ALL OF THE ARTIST ON HERE WILL SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE AN ALBUM ABOUT SOMETHING MORE THEN KILLIN, SMOKIN AND ACTING CRAZY...If you are from the streets then talk about it, but put your own spin on it...be original.
