sit back n chill wit the eyecandy. Make your piece how it sounds if you gonna do an infared logo, i suggest a red with a nice neon glow but just dont overdue it with the glow make it clean to the eyes. Look online for different texture patterns learn how to use them, i like using any kind of metallic or steele textures, pluggins will be obscolete to your designs. Adding textures in photoshop 6 or 7 is a snap. If you have no idea what im talkin about hit my pm box wit any questions...........

take off those damn flames...they look cheesy as fucc...yeah, it looks better then your last but those flames gotta go...what else...... hmmmmm.... well you should make a color overlay and make it look more of a red color then what it is now...
