Vick isn't the only one that was dog fighting. I'm sure some of your fav. rappers dog fought. All the G's do it. Some of my ex-homies did it. People aren't doing it for the mere fact of killing animals, theyre just doing it to make some skrilla. If you want to frown upon dudes dog fighting, than why not frown upon drug dealers. Drug dealers fuck peoples lives up here and there, and get them killed, too; not intentionally, but shit happens, when you're on drugs. I'm an animal lover, but I'm just trying to be real here. I would value a humans life over an animals life. People getting killed over drugs is way worse than dogs getting killed.

Fuck this society.
HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING TO COMPARE DEALING DRUGS WITH FIGHTING DOGS? DID THE DOGS HIT VICK, OR ANYBODY ELSE, UP FOR A FIGHT? DO DRUG DEALERS FORCE PEOPLE TO BUY DRUGS THEN ELECTROCUTE THEM TO DEATH IF THEY REFUSE?

ok ive said it a million times before I will say it again here!

vick did his time let him do what the fuck he wants now..hes an overrated qb but its not my team spending money on him so fuck it BUT

1) he didnt go to jail for fighting dogs...he went to jail for betting and gambling across state lines..FEDERAL CRIMES just happened to be the dog fights he was betting on.

2) I feel more for dogs then I do for homeless fucking shoot me....the dogs didnt ask to be put into fighting, homeless is mostly the fault of themselves, be it drugs, alcohal etc....

3) again cant compare vick sentence vs stallworth sentence...2 fucking totally different things and if you cant see that then you have problems. fed case vs state case, intentional gambling, vs unintentional death that was also caused partly by victim, non plea vs stallworth taking a plea with the assistance of victims faimly, etc...

Maybe for future state charges, or for dropped charges but I believe he was only "convicted" of the actual gamvbling charges only.

this is an except from an espn article.

"In a plea agreement, Vick admitted bankrolling the dogfighting ring on his 15-acre property in rural Virginia. He admitted providing money for bets on the fights but said he never shared in any winnings."

wikipedia,,,,for what its worth anyways

"On August 24, Vick filed plea documents with the federal court. He pleaded guilty to "Conspiracy to Travel in Interstate Commerce in Aid of Unlawful Activities and to Sponsor a Dog in an Animal Fighting Venture". He admitted to providing most of the financing for the operation and to participating directly in several dog fights in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina and South Carolina."

the interstate gambling is basically the charge. and sponsoring a dog in fighting is the gambling portion of it
