I wished he would've made that decision before I had to waste my time seeing him on tour wit tech. He probably got greedy and thought he deserved more.

ill bill isnt even good any ways. im glad hes gone. he doesnt deserve to be associated with the n9ne
You sir, are an idiot. Bill is one of the hottest artists goin', and he has been for a long ass time now. Bill was probably the only other artist besides Tech and Kutty who's album I would actually purchase.

That sucks for real. I wonder what was the road block getting a deal done.

I get the feeling... that a lot of the delays.... and a lot of everything... has to do with T.O. That sounds retarded, because, well... no shit; T.O. is the CEO of Strange Music. But I personally think it's a bad thing... sure, T.O. has helped Tech out, but everyone else on the label...? :ermm:

The Ill Bill thing was just a distribution deal anyway.... but still, I think it does more harm than good. You have been publicizing for MONTHS that Ill Bill's next album is coming out on YOUR label, but then that's not actually what happens. Yet another brilliant business move at Strange Music.... :(

agreed... I was looking forward to this

I was also looking forward to see how his style would gel with the rest of the camp on some future feature's...

definitely one of the more credible artists that they acquired temporarily on their roster

it wasnt a true strange music album anyway, one song with tech and the rest featured other people, clearly the album has been done for quite some time and then bill went shoppin for a label and added one track with strange i could care less really, bill was the worst part of the fire and ice tour very boring and half the words i couldnt understand, his hype man were hyper than bill, oh well no loss im more pumped for SS and Kutty cant wait for those dudes to drop

if the album was done for that long then why did bill take so long to sign with somebody? maybe it has been done for a while, but when i watched the vid it seemed like it was just finished and now when he was ready to sign, shit went sour.

but again, just an assumption.

Strange needs to suck it up and put their asses on the line if they ever wanna get anywhere in the music industry. They could get a label deal. They're just too damn greedy I bet.

ur prolly right. as far as ill bill, i dont like him personally but having him seemed like a good move cause he had alot of fan base and shit. letting him go without the album on strange was a dumb buisness descision if thats what it came down to and shit. whatever the way i see it is 1 down and 5 to go. lets cut some fuking fat off the piece of steak we call strange music lol

Bill was the only reason I went to Fire & Ice.

Ill Bill is awesome on record, and I'm a fan of his, but he had a rather lackluster showing at fire & Ice (at least at my show...and his set seemed a bit short too).

Why is it that Strange is so quick to showcase certain acts BEFORE the deals are finalized? Same thing happened with critical bill. they were on a sampler/compilation, they toured with tech, BOOM! They never sign, album drops on another label.

One thing's for sure: Strange better not sign anyone else with "Bill" in its name. :/

Wasn't a "true strange music album anyway"??

Sorry it didn't have Kaliko all over the whole fucking thing and Tech yellin' "Chyeah" every two seconds on the verse. There ARE other record labels that are available to listen to other than Strange Music.

I think I heard something like that once anyway.
