matisyahu - this fools a real deal hasidic jew. rocking the the fat beard and curly sideburns with the yamakah and all, but he rocks the mic. at first i thought it was a gimmick, but the more ive learned about him i realize hes no joke
i dont know if im the only one that finds the concept of a hardcore hasidic jew making sick music funny, but it just is to me. the music is dope, its not fully, but pretty reggeaish. peep out one of his tracks:

yeah that shits pretty funny that he knocks on weed, but that just makes him all the more sicker in my book. i may not agree, but i love the fact that hes just keeping it real, and is saying something that obviously isnt a popular belief in the music industry, especially reggae

i love how he takes off his hat and yamakah then goes crowd surfing. then when he gets back on stage has that smile on his face while he readjusts his yamakah. i dont know why but that just cracks me up

im not jewish but i still dig the message and music. dude is pretty fuckin dope

maybe these two can hook up and make an album? that'd be awkward :chinese:

Yes Gentleman is also tight he really rocks it, when I first heard him I thought he was some black guy from Jamaica.
He's got a really cool voice, deep lyrics and on his last album feature alot of good reggae artist. But I didn't really listen to it yet because his last album is more commercial then the other two..

He's also very energetic live (like most reggae artist I've seen live)

But about Matisyahu I hope he's doing a show in Holland pretty soon because he seems to get a crowd going

My wife loves this guy...plays his shit all the time.

We went to his concert when he was in S.F. and that shit was crazy. He got in the crowd, jumped on top of the speakers...it was a really good show. I never liked the stuff my wife played, but he was pretty good live.

Yeah, I think Mac Jesus hit me up with a couple tracks a while ago. To be honest, I laughed when I saw his picture and was quick to judge...I mean seriously, you don’t expect someone looking like that to spit dope reggae shit. But the couple tracks I heard werent bad at all, pretty good as a matter of fact. I give props

yeah, mac jesus was diggin it. and dont feel bad, i still laugh when i see the dude, especially his video, they play it on mtv (well i saw it once) and you can find it on the internet. he looks so funny when he takes off his yamakuh to stage dive, he rips it though. his live album is pretty damn good.

by the way @ 2-0sixx - im assuming youre a sole fan by your sig. thats another guy that makes me laugh when i see him. i saw him with sage a little bit ago and hes something else. i remember when he played ahtiest jihad at the show he had the audience point their fingers like guns into the sky and yell "booyah god booyah god booyah! i dont think him and matisyahu would make good touring partners
