This question is for everyone, not just rappers. The question is also not limited to having rappers on your track, i mean all styles of music, including marvin gaye and stuff.... If you could get down on a track with anyone, past or present, for free, who would you choose and why?
My choice would probably have to be 2pac, for the obvious reason for the all time pick.
as far as living rappers, I would have to say E-40 for the fact that 40 adds that much more to a track. What I mean by that is, listen to the songs he's on, where he doesn't even rap. Spice 1's track with 40 on the 187 he wrote album is sick with 40 bein on it, and he don't even rap on it, but then look at d-boyz got love for me on the amerikkka's nightmare album, it's that much tighter. 40 has done this for numerous songs, so he would probably be my choice.
I would also love to get down with spice 1, Too $hort, Rakim, and notorious BIG as far as rap is concerned.
Outside of rap, I would love to work with Quincy Jones. That man is a musical genious, and has been responsible for some of the best music in our time....perfect example, Micheal Jacksons career. MJ's music was great with Quincy, and MJ's track, I can't help it is my favorite song to this day.
Stevie wonder, should be no explaination needed here.
Micheal Jackson--pre-child court cases. LOL
There are others, but these are the standouts
