right I can understand that. I've listened to bob marly for years and years, more so then I ever listened to pac so his music means more to me than probably most on this site, so I'm biased in that sense.
But the way I look at it, each of these people and what they mean to the people, I think Bob meant more to more people around the globe, add to that he was a better person and he had the power & will to actually make a ton of positive change, more than anyone on the list.

you think tupac wouldnt fuck with the south, or that it would be some fake shit? first off tupac loved the east. he eventually woulda fucked with outkast and even dj screw and swishahouse once he found out how much he was on mixtapes. he was ALWAYS on dj screw tapes. he would still fuck with scarface whos in houston. (dont forget devin the dude was down with dre, peep the chronic albums...its no doubt tupac ran across rap a lots shit...) lets not forget 2pac was on 'smile' with face before the south was even big. pac was huge in the south due to dj screw. even zro eventually took alot of influence from pac. i think theyd work together right now, i think zro might even had eben part of the outlaws right now.
The way I remember it was either bob himself in an interview or someone very close to him explaining after his death the way I said, that he went against it because he wanted to give his all to the people. Whether or not it had to do with his rasta ways, I'm not sure. I wouldn't think so because bob kinda did his own thing in many regards anyways.
