If E-40 can't go platinum off breaking news i dunno who can out the bay! He is the most popular artist out the bay and on breaking news he networks with artists like lil jon, clipse, david banner, bone crusher, dj quik, and dj kayslay. If he doesn't go platinum off this shit i dunno who will because breaking news is straight fire! He better sell some damn units and people need to go support that shit, i already got mines!

agreed. the beats are definately taking some getting used to, but i'm feeling the album as a whole. I think if it gets enough radio play, and even (god forbid) MTV play, it'll go platinum for sure.

Sell out to the fullest when he doesn't even need to sell out. 40s got all the money he needs or so he says. Why doesn't he just focus on making good records instead of trying to get the hottest rappers of the minute on his cds.

I copped & five of my homies copped. I had the same thought about grit & grind due to the singles that were put out. This is a solid album no doubt, but it hurts to say he will be lucky to hit gold.

How is it hatin? You know that there's no way in hell that he'd fuck with any of those southern cats if they were some indy no name rappers. What do you call a rapper who records tracks with other rappers just because of their record sales not because of their talent? A sell out.

If E-40 doesnt go platinum, then people still pay attention to rap music. Theres no way in hell this album should go platinum, and if you dont believe me, I hope you've heard the cd for yourself, because there are 5 tracks worth listening to on the cd, 3 of them are the radio friendly "singles," one has San Quinn, Messy Marv, Keak and EA Ski on it, and one is the song Breakin News.

If this E-40 does go platinum, I gotta say I will be real dissapointed with the whole rap community. Grit and Grind was 10x better than this album and didnt even go gold...

yea he got them rappers, but he also got rappers from the bay like b-legit, keak da sneak, san quinn, the mossie, ea ski and even goapele! he just networkin with everyone and makin power moves

that would be a miracle if some shit like that went platinum...people across the nation are gonna put in that album and laugh at it hella hard before they even give it a fair listen. lol...40's fucken up in my opinion. if anything in a major way and charlie hustle shoulda gone platinum right away...not this wack shit.

40 fucked up with the production.

real disapointed. he need to put a book on tape. or accapella cd. that way i can listin to his spits. with out garbadge production.
