Record sales isn't a fair comparison for actual talent. Some of the most talented rappers, in my opinion, don't sell that many records. But then you have some mainstream artists who end up selling millions of records because mtv & radio play thier songs. In some cases, the one song on the air was one of the 2 out of the 16 that were actually worth listening to. If I made fart sounds and recorded it then photoshopped a cool cover for the cd and put ICP on the top of it, ICP fans everywhere would be jumping in line to buy that shit. When the album was talked down on, ICP fans would say "It's the shit". I don't think they are the reason that underground artists have a starting point, although some underground artists may start with the ICP genre. In the end it all comes down to this...... ICP fans are hard headed and changing thier mind is like changing thier clothes... It's not gonna happen. This is the argument that will never end because everyone has an opinion and I don't see those changing anytime in the future. If you like ICP good for you, If you like george bush, good for you too, but personally I could care less about both of them. Burn me at the stake for stating my opinion, It's the Internet. The ICP hardcore mentality is all good and great, I just have a hatred of ignorant shit . In the grander scheme of things, it doesn't mean shit, argue all you want but ICP fans are just another spoke in the wheel of a force that is bigger than juggalo's.
Yeah, and MC Hammer outsold ICP and Tech with one album.. How many gold and platinum records do N'Sync have? That whole argument is extremely flawed.

I own the joker's cards albums and only the jokers cards from ICP and psychopathic combined. I own nothing in the way of clothing items or lighters or $150 Hockey Jerseys.
I enjoy listening to the first 5 card albums (maybe because of Mike E Clark). The Wraith's were really really dissapointing. I mean really really really. Really.
The first 5, especially Riddlebox and milenko, had hard ass beats and rhythems and I enjoyed what they said (even though the rapping skill was very juvenile)...
For 3 reasons (which happen to be what they say they stand for anyways)
1. I fucking hate rednecks with a passion.
2. I fucking hate child abusers with a passion.
3. I fucking hate racists with a passion.
4. I'm not to fond of authority figures.
and the first 5 dealt with killing those motherfuckers with tractors, shotguns to the face and shovels to the neck. I dug it when I was coming up and I still dig it now at 23.
but those last 2... and the albums they had in the middle... WHAT A JOKE!
EDIT: I shower daily, don't paint my face for a Tech N9ne or even an ICP concert, dont have "juggalo" or "ninja" all over my car, and I once socked a motherfucker for putting Faygo on my gear at the Wonka show in Columbus a few years back.

Well, it's like you people hatin on 50 cent and g unit. How Many of 50's cds went platinum? All of them released as a mainstream artist. So when it comes to record sells no. The reason why Icp ever had any sells for one is they were getting on wwf and shit and those wrestling fans are gay jus' like icp fans. word...not a huge icp fan, but i definitely hate 50 cent, he is the biggest joke in hip hop history...if u get a chance 2 watch 'all eyes on me, the sequel' on mtv, watch that shit, sway asks hella legit questions and makes 50 look like a fucking moron, at the very end hebasically admits to being a sell out, saying something along the lines of how its a music business, and u gotta make the music that people will buy....so pretty much he's not makin music for himself, he's makin it for all the teeny bopper mainstream rap biancas and mitch baders...im not a huge fan of icp either, but if tech kicks it with him, weather they make hella good music or not they gotta be pretty tight, techs got good taste....bottom line, fuck 50 cent, and in my opinion u r not an intelligent rap fan if u think his music is good
I like tech man you got it twisted but i like 50 too. I like power for the dollar album too. But, I like tech better. It jus' blows my mind that tech isn't making millions. I just dont understand. every1(including me) says he's good well why the fuck isnt he making millions. I jus' dont get it. Tech the the best shit since Pac and biggie IMO. But techs album is i think is gonna bring mainstream into a whole nother world of rap and jus' fucking blow every1 out of the water.
