I stay up near San Leandro most the time and that San Lorenzo one is tight as fuck.

Back when I had hella money... I lived at that Rasputin. Only thing I didn't like was niggas hella pestering niggas to buy their CD outside.

And... I don't know if this goes for all Rasputin stores, but I know at the one in San Lorenzo- it's like you gotta be HELLA weird to work there.

HAHAHAHA my potnah did that every month for like a year..till they caught on and told him "you cant come in no more...we cant prove it but we know youre stealing" the next month they changed their system and scanned every cd which is wut we have now! aint that a trip!? and i know we wasnt the only ones...its funny when other shoppers knew wut your doin and they was doin the same thing! HAHAHAHA...sorry raspys we had to!

at frisco theres nobody pressure to sell cds because in downtown. and yeah most of people work at the rasputins are into rock and few people that know about rap

i love that store, i be in there for hours. last cd i found there i think was young lay's black n dangerous. they had some old ray luv too but i was on a budget. =(

sounds like you got some good shit homie. see for some reason i got a problem with buying used cds. im not sure why, but its a thing of mine. for some reason i have to buy them brand new. but shit $10, that's almost brand new price anyway. from like $12-$17 for new cds, not tryin to knock you though homie. the one thing i like bout Rasputins too is there is always local talet sellin they cds in front of the store. I always like to buy stuff from new cats, I remember back in the day one of th e fooz I work with said he bought Young Dru's cd off him in the front of one of em. Its a good place to network if you in music.

Damn, I wished I knew about the one in San Jose because that is where I drove from. I only knew of the one in San Lorenzo because I saw it right off of the freeway, but then on the bag it had all of their locations. I'll definitely be popping into a couple of Rasputin's next time I am up there.

There is no where else where you can get discounted bay shit, they have every bay artist out there, amoeba aint got nothin on raspy, that's why rasputins has all the bay artist signings and instores... they support the bay artists.

San Lorenzo is the best Rasputins spot hands down, then Powell and Ellis in SF..
