I Went To Rasputin's Music For The First Time

All I can say is that I am envious of all of you that live up near any Rasputin's music. I was up in the bay area to visit a family member and as we were heading on the 880 south I spotted a Rasputin's off of the freeway. So the next day, we had some time to kill before heading back down here. So we decided to go to the Rasputin's and also head over to hippyville, I mean Berkeley, to check out the Amoeba music. Amoeba was a huge disappointment, but luckily there was another Rasputin's right up the street. Damn, I have never bought so many CDs at one time. I usually head out to the Amoeba on Sunset in Hollywood about every 2-3 months, but I never get as much as I did mainly because they, or any other music store, does not have the wide and vast selection of used bay area rap music. Here is what I picked up at both Rasputin's:

I went to Rasputin's in San Lorenzo a little while ago. Hella fuckin mad... they had NONE of the friscostreetshow albums that dropped today. but they said UPS hadn't delivered there yet.

Damn,You cashed out something big. I agree with you tho,Rasputin is my favorite spot. Sam Goody and FYI be taxing.

I used a credit card. It might take me 2-3 months to pay it back, but fuck it. I've been looking for most of those for a while for $10 or under but can't find them for less than $15. The next time I'm up there, I definitely know where I'll be going.

You went to the Rasputins in Newark. I've been to most of them, but I never actually went into the one in the City, although I walked right past it a couple times. Does anyone know if that one is better than the rest when it comes to albums?

i miss rasputins since i moved. i usually spend about 100-$200 everytime i go and ask always check the cd condition at counter before i buy them- they get hella mad- lazy ass workers. i know they used hate it when i came into the store.

its cool. not a lot of ppl go there so you find shit. found a ras kass soul on ice cd there which is hard to find

I stay up near San Leandro most the time and that San Lorenzo one is tight as fuck.
