Finally got a chance to listen to both. They're both equally wack to me. If you have any common sense you would understand that this would be an obvious sample to use. Especially since everybody and their momma is rushing to make a Stunna Shades song right now.

ahh, imma have to wait before I decide which I think is better just cause the quality of these suck right now, but I aint go lie, I'm feelin' both songs. Syko's im feelin da beat more, but the feds one is aight too, but seriously, can't bay rappers come up wit stuff more creative than rhyming bout stunna shades? ....i mean, how many stunna shades song do we really need? or how many more songs about just sayin go dummy, go dumb, get stupid, etc., etc. Can't niggas spit about some real shit from time 2 time. I'll support the hyphy movement, but I just don't wanna see the bay only recognized for making "hyphy" music.

This kind of thing can be the down-fall of the bay's "come back" as well. That's great we have a sub-genre of music that's getting us attention (Hyphy), but mufuckas better come up with some new song concepts and quick (see Bailey). How many Stunna Shades songs we got (including Jagged Edges)? I've heard a total of 8, personally. From known cats to unknown cats. That's fuckin retarded. We're always talkin about how we're so original "out here in da bay" and shit but everybody is makin the same kind of songs (with a few exceptions). Those few exceptions are the REAL original mufuckas - everybody else is just a bunch of talentless lemmings following a trend.

For the last 10+ years I've been listening to bay area rap as an outsider (I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan) and to be honest, I'm real happy that the rappers I grew up on are getting national attention. I don't think the people that have negative things to say are getting the big picture. This Hyphy shit is cool, but it's a phase that in a few years 'people on BART' will be bitching that no one is paying attention again. Enjoy the attention while it's out there . . . it won't last long

I think every rapper from the bay area should jump on the Hyphy train/movement and make an album to try and get some exposure. Face it, people want to hear that shit right now

I been hearin Syko's version and Im leanin more towards it than the Fed's version. NO hate to either camp but its a sampled beat. Shit's wrong for samplin the same song but you really think that was on purpose? I feel where you comin from though, Syke.
