Yea in Latin America like in caracas,Venuelzuela they sign a kid for $500 bucks or so and then they groom them to be players. But the sad thing is for every Miguel Tejada there is a latin kid who won't make it. only 5 out of every 100 ballers in Latin America make it to the big leagues. and Jackie Robinson would be saddened if he ws stilll alive seeing the dwindling number of A/As in Major League Baseball.

You got the RBI and all but that isn't really helping the situation. And i heard they will build a US acaademy for inner city youths in LA next year but still. its not the same. With gangs and drugs ruining the inner city parks and rec areas there seems to be no way we african americans can get into the majors. the youth of today. It is not right since it is so tought to have the facilities the money to buy a glove and shoes and uniforms for our inner city kids.

Last post... I fucked up. I said Anderson was having a bad year. I heard that from the A's announcers and I jumped to conclusions. He's hitting over .320 My bad, I was wrong. Manny, Ichiro, and Bernie WIlliams probably go from AL outfield to start, but he probably will make it.

the only way ichiro will start will be because of those japs voting him in cuz he's hitting around .260 i'm sure truazn aka chubbybadguy will vote for him. it is a little early for all of this all star talk though!!! lol. well since 3 guys from short will make it then what makes u think that jimmy won't?? i'm sure edgar will start. alex gonzalez of florida has 8 jacks so jimmy will have to battle his way in again.
