exactly, go after em matai!! that's bullshit, i've heard stories about the vallejo pd. that's not something your kids should have to see!!!! talk to a lawyer and try to get in contact with the mayor somehow cuz that's the last thing he wants to hear about his P.D. Emphasise the fact that u wanted to be a cop and all that. the last thing the mayor would want would be for something like your situation to hit the newspapers. the papers would love to hear a story like that and print it so that's a good way to get it settled and get that scrill without even going to court. once they see that u have a good case then u might not have to go to trial. talk to a lawyer that u think u can trust though. good luck playa!

Thanks for all the replies playas and for the advice! I do need any info on Lawyer's if anyone has some! I do work very closely with the SFPD and I've seen shit like this happen but I never wanted to become an Officer to do this kind of shit to anyone! I know so many great cops and they are also the reason I even thought of doing the shit! SFPD is also a city that excepts cats like myself that have had fucked up past and records! I'm coo now and besides, I love my music to much to take time away from it! Once again thanks homies and I will take every piece of advice you guys have given me!

on the real though, its going to boil down to the extent of the injuries and are they consistent with "excessive force". Right off the top they are going to corroborate a story that you were resisiting arrest and thats how you got the bruises on your face and wrists. I honestly believe you 100%, but the law is FUCKED up man. Good luck though, the right attorney could get you a settlement.

Sue them definatley, but I would move afterwards. You don't wanna be on most of the cops bad sides. That shit can come back and haunt you. They can do just about anything they want to you and have a good chance of getting away with it.
