If you look past the "boy band" thing and the fact that he's white, it's pretty obvious Justin Timberlake has talent.
Also, he's not prancing around for 14yr old girls anymore, he's obviously trying to reach older listeners and trying to crossover and be accepted by the "non-white" audience. Maybe dude is growing up and being his own man and making his own decisions now of who he wants to be and how he wants to be perceived...or maybe he just wants to be "the token white boy". Who knows, only time will tell.
So the cats from the Clipse aren't "real" either huh? It's funny how someone can speak on somebody else (over the internet, no less) and whether or not they are "real" or not, ESPECIALLY someone they don't even know. To me, that doesn't sound like a move any "real" cat would do.
The next time 50 or Clipse are in town, are you gonna go to where they're at and tell them to their face that they are sellouts, that they're not gangstas, that they're not real?
The cold fact of the game is that you gotta get the money when you can, as fast as you can while it's there because who's to say the opportunities you have now will still be there next year, or two years from now? As long as these guys can be honest with themselves and go to bed at night with a clear head, and can look at themselves in the mirror and not be ashamed then they are being "real" to themselves.
And when it all boils down to the heart of the issue, it's about being true to yourself. If you make your decisions in life based on what "the homies on the block" or how someone else will look at you, then YOU are the one not being "real".
Any man that will do what he wants to do when he wants to do, because it's what HE wants to do, regardless of what other people think - THAT'S being "real"
In case you've never heard it before:
"Players do what they wanna do, Suckas do what they can."
