A long time ago, KBOO - a radio station up here - played "exclusive" NorthWest music every Thursday night. They don't do it anymore, but anyway...I got two songs recorded onto a cassette tape, but VERY short clips, in low quality, and at a low volume in some parts because my player kept screwing up. Anyway, I went through my stuff upstairs and found the cassette tape, and so it brought back memories. They were recorded about two years ago - but were VERY exclusive at the time - so they might only be about a year-and-a-half old, if they were actuall released.

I need to know the artist(s), song titles, and hopefully a place where I can purchase an album, or at least a vinyl or radio rip or SOMETHING. If you know anything at all about either of these tracks, then please RESPOND. They're killin' me. I posted the most important one first. Here we go...

I will add '-' for each word I could not understand from my clip (i.e. '---' would imply that three words are left out).

Song 1 (a club song)

Part of a Verse (with a fast rapper):
"...hype this thing up
and think I don't spit it,
Ya'll thought was sittin' at the bar
at night, tryin' to get drunk and piss it.
DJ bumpin' this
And watcha wanna do girlfriend
Let's go get busy,
Or we get twisted
up and get drunk first
and I might get dizzy.
Let's go sip some crizzy
at the bar where we..."

Chorus (another guy):
"Let me see yo hands up...
If you ready to party
then clap yo hands! (clap, clap, clap)
Move yo body and do your dance (clap, clap, clap)
Everybody let me see you throw your hands up (clap, clap, clap)

If you ready to party
then clap yo hands! (clap, clap, clap)
Move yo body and do your dance (clap, clap, clap)
Everybody let me see you throw your hands up (clap, clap, clap)

Everybody come on lose your mind,
Keepin' the party live and doin' it right,
Doin' your thing tonight,
"----",
If everything is tight,
then put them up to the sky.

Everybody come on lose your mind,
Keepin' the party live and doin' it right,
Doin' your thing tonight,
"----",
If everything is tight,
then put them up to the sky."

Song 2 (a smooth song, R&Bish) (* = a second artist, he sounded Reggae)

Chorus:
"I like what you doin'
Keep movin', don't stop
Drop to the top.
* And I love when you smilin' '--'
* Girl break me off somethin' '-'
Do what you do
Don't stop, drop the top,
It's your birthday, don't hurt me
Your so off tha chain."

All right, I finally ripped the clips from the cassette (thanks to djtech for telling me how to set it up)! They're very short and EXTREMELY low quality - especially on the first one, because the volume kept going up and down when I originally recorded it. Anyway, I hope these clips help a little more, 'cause I really need to know who these guys are and what the song is.

Once again, this was played in 2003 as "exclusive" (so if it was ever released, probably in 2004) and is somewhere from the NorthWest (should be from Portland, but I'm not positive). Please help!
