I Need PC help ASAP

I recently was cleaning up my computer on add/remove programs and what I thought was an audio mixer/converter type thing, was actually the thing that makes the sound work on my computer.... and I have completely drawn a blank on how to get the sound back on my computer.... any info is greatly appreciated

yeah, went there, still cant figure the shit out... and I can't remeber how I did it when I first got the computer....(I put my PC together from scratch)

when you add/remove programs they don't go into the trash. they just are gone
