i need help with Video.mpg,wmv

i have this video thats like a 30mb mpg file.i was wonderin how can i make it the file smaller? i want to put this clip on a web page so people can stream and download it..i made it a wmv file but its still like 30mb..is there a way too make this smaller?

i'm having a similiar problem...i have a video file thats like 750MBs and i just simply wanna chop off the end so that its shorter...and like 650mb...how do i do that?

aight thats a easy one..you can cut off whatever you want if you have Windows Movie Maker..just upload the video in there..once its in the timeline just drag it the video back and it will cut off the end..



you can also make intros and outro with Windows Movie Maker.theres a couple cool little things u can do

Damize, have you tried using the Windows Media Encoder? http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx

It might help you, but I dont know. Also though, if the file were .avi I believe it could be smaller depending on what codecs are used to encode the video. Such as 3vix for example.
