I NEED HELP BAD!!!!!!!!

Aight....maybe I'm just a fuckin idiot...but I have cubase vst 32 5.1,a midiman 3x8 thru box and I cannot get my synth(roland mc 505) to work on my pc to save my fuckin ass.Is there anyone that can give me some input,so I can get this shit workin.I also have soundforge 6.0 and can't get it workin with this either.
I'd appreciate any help I can get cuz I'm gettin really pissed.

Soundforge should work right out of the box. If you can play sound in windows then you should be able to use sound forge without any problems... playback wise. As for Cubase you need a controller keyboard (if my memory serves me correct, the MC-505 is a groovebox) and a patchscript for the MC-505. From what I've been reading, you have to use the JX-305 script as it's basically the same engine as the MC-505. That script can be found here: http://www.chez.com/jx305/files/JX-305.txt - save this file in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase VST\Scripts\Patchnames and when you load Cubase make a MIDI channel, select the MIDI output that's hooked up to the MC-505 and where is says Patchname select a patch and try and play.
