absolutely true, it is just that there is certain music and certain artists that you are somehow supposed to like and who also make garbage music

im sick of people bitchin about how bad rap is now...if there is NOTHIN u can find that u like from all the regions, underground or mainstream...maybe u should switch genres and stop bitchin about it

My 2 cents......rap isn't dead, it will always be a form of music. Like someone else said, if you can't find any type you like (underground, mainstream, etc.) then find a different genre

edit:
Actually I haven't switched to a different genre. i don't llisten to any genre that I havent always listened to, its just that I have pretty much taken rap out of the rotation save for a few artists and older releases.

My problem with the east coast is they act like they are better then everybody else but yet steady biting shit from the other coast. I mean dont get me wrong there are alot of rappers in the east that I like but they just arent my cup of tea

as of right now, there is more on the east that i like than the west, westcoast music is dead, south has been dead since like 97, i never got into midwest, so there you have it

WESTCOAST MUSIC AINT NEVER BEEN DEAD, FUCK DO SOME OF YOU GUYS LISTEN TO REALLY? THERES NO SUCH THING AS A CLASSIC ANYMORE AND THE MOST POPULAR RAPPER LIL WAYNE IS AN AVERAGE RAPPER AT BEST, IF IT WAS THE MID 90'S DUDE WOULDNT BE IN THE TOP 10 OR 20 PROBABLY. THERES TO MANY ABC RAPPERS THESE DAYS I THANK A LOT OF THAT TO THE SOUTH, I CANT STAND MOST OF THESE RAPPERS THAT HAVE NO FLOWS BARELY CAN SPIT WORDS OUT THERE MOUTH.

Thats the East Coast in general. That doesnt really have anything to do with East Coast rap though.
