Man I ain't got no problem wit cats doin self promotion, das all good I think every artist should do dat...but god damn I see cats on here sayin everything from they the best in da Bay...to they got a new West Coast classic...what? Look as a favor to ya self don't go on sayin big shit like knowin damn well at best ya shit is real solid...but not tha fuckin greatest. Let da people say yall great...I mean it's cool to be confident, but ya settin ya self up for tha reality slap of...ya not tha great rap hope and you sayin ya album is a classic don't make it one.

*this ain't at no particular artist...I see how cats get all sensitive and internet thug you on da post...this is just a reminder, but fuck it if the shoe fits slip ya foot in.

Good post...you can't say you king, the people have put you on that level...bragg, but at least have the since to back it up wit hot music.

Ohh yea and don't get pissed when you say some shit like I am the best or I got a classic and somebody don't agree wit what YOU feel.

I agree artists should not crown themselves king however with the LACK of support right now for artists they almost have to come up with some off the wall shit for someone to give their music a chance. There are solid projects out there that get swept under the rug because lack of support I mean just look at these threads on siccness and Raptalk all of the threads with a negative or a gossip/rumor get all of the attention and reply's its just the way shit works I see alot of artists promote their shit on these boards get no luv thats why I try to at least read everyones shit and try to respond as much as possible we need that right now esspecially in the bay these boards can really help an artist but at the same time you can post and post and not get any feedback but thats ok mabey its not for everyone mabey others get more luv on the streets than these threads I speak for myself on this topic as well please try to pay attention cuz you might have took a pass on the next best thing.Peace!!!! Just some food for thought!!!!!
