I can see how both "nigga" and "white boy" are offensive. First of all id be damned to hear some white guy refer to me as "nigga" if he never had to deal with the shit that comes with being black. I as a white man hate the term "white boy". First of all im a grown ass man, with bills, responsibility and problems. Its especially offended when a person who is unemployed, lives off their white girlfriend and drives her cavalier says taht to me or anyone i know. Someone whos never had a responsibility in their lives.
I FEEL LIKE THIS, I DONT WANT ANOTHER RACE USIN IT BUT AT THE SAME TIME AM I GONNA GO AROUND CHECKIN EVERYBODY? IS IT REALLY WORTH MY TIME. ITS LIKE I RATHER NOT HAVE ANOTHER RACE THROW THE WORD AROUND ME. IF ITS SAID IN A CONFRONTAL WAY THEN ITS A PROBLEM. BUT ITS ALOT OF WHITE DUDES I CAME ACROSS THAT LIVED IN BLACK HOODS AND GOT THAT PASS SAME AS MEXICANS & ASIANS AND NOW THEY FEEL COMFORTABLE SAYIN IT BUT THEY DO NEED TO WATCH IT CUZ SAYIN IT AROUND THE WRONG BLACK DUDE WIT A CHIP ON HIS SHOULDER WILL GO RIGHT INTO ATTACK MODE AND NOW U HAVE A SCENE ON UR HAND

the whole creole culture makes shit confusing out there..as well as miami..niggas is basically black as all hell but talk french lol
nigga dosent have a definition to me....and i dont get called 'nigga' too often...id probably take offense to it myself...when i use nigga im not talking about the person in front of me because i cnsider that offensive..im usually talking about someone else, like 'this nigga' and in that sense it has a definition, ignorant person, im usually using it in that definition. but im not just like nigga this nigga that.

i bet i dont.but i bet i know people of every race in vallejo that say nigga to each other.white ppl to blacks blacks to white.whites to mexicans mexicans to asians indians and so on.and gas shut ur ass up ur half white.and why is it ok for samoans and tongans to say it but not filipinos or fijians?if ur gonna get mad about 1 race sayin it get mad at them all.
i really dont trip unless i know it was said to offend me like someone see's me walkin and say look at this nigga with a red hat and he aint black hell yea i'll say somethin,but if i see two people approaching each other that aint black and say whats up nigga to one another then i wont trip cuz i know the statement wasnt made in a disrespectful way..
from a white boy's perspective, i really don't notice non-blacks sayin 'nigga' nearly as much as i used to. i don't know if it's a change in the times, or cuz everybody i kickit with is older now. i'm 25 now, but in high school i feel like damn near everybody was saying it. now it's just a select few, and it hella stands out when i hear it now. i've never been one to say it, and at least half of my close folks are black and say it quite a bit...it just seems hella corny (in addition to disrespectful) for a non-black dude to say that shit.
I'm too old to give a fuck. Honestly, I just laugh and keep it movin'. My homie says it all the time and he's Mexican. Its not anything I get all worked up about. I always wondered what people's (non African-American) motivation for sayin' it was. When you say it, are you meanning for it to be inclusive to all races?

i'm a filipino cat in my early thirties and i grew up with all my black homies referring to me as their nigga, and when i was a youngsta i would address them the same way. it wasn't never what up my flip or nuttin like that so i never really tripped off that shit when the word was bein used in that context. to this day i got black friends that will address me like what up my nigga, but i don't respond the same just for the fact i'm grown and don't wanna offend people that aint comfortable with that shit. it's crazy how sayin the same word in different context would make my folks react differently though. for example i could walk up to the dice game or smoke session and be like what up my niggas and if some other non-black dude came up that wasnt really down wit em came up and said the same shit he could get his shit cracked.
