if you ain't finished with high school, you should plan on staying where you're at until at least Jan 1, 2008 and just work a shitload this summer and until the end of the year. You'll be pissed that you didn't get to do shit this summer, but next summer, it'll be crackin having your own spot and bringing bitches back to your own place. Just stack some chips from now until the end of the year. Just think about it...starting in June, you put away $500 a month towards future rent and by the end of the year you'll have $3,500 to pay your rent which should be cool for a couple months. And in the meantime, just keep putting away that money and saving extra on the side.

Moving out on your own doesn't show maturity or that you can handle your own. I hope you're not doing that to prove something to your parents.

Make sure you're financially stable and since you don't have a source of income there's no need to even think about getting your own place yet. Being able to smoke whenever you want should be last on your list of "WHY I NEED A PLACE OF MY OWN"

I'm 22, still living with moms and pops... I say in about 3 years I'll get my own HOUSE

and yes i do know how las vegas is..half of my fams there..and none of them are clean..at any given point of time in their adult lives (my dads second wife is the ONLY person on my fathers side thats sober in any way shape or form)..and everyones doing pretty well....

NEVER quit smoking weed for a job.

that is akin to joining the army, sex changes, losing your virginity to a prostitute, and cutting your hair/beard for a job.
