I will be so gald when you cats get off this "Jay bit Pac" garbage. It has been covered few times already. Who cares if Jay sampled Pac. Pac was NOT I repeat NOT the end all be all of rappers. Just because he is dead it makes using his music different than say, Ashanti using that Mary Jane by Scarface? Bottom line I will buy Jay-Z new disk and I will knock this remake that has ya'll cats thongs in a bunch. If you want to be upset about somthing be upset that Suge thinks Ja Rule is the next Pac. At which point that doesn't even matter either because like it or not Tupac is not here and the will never be another Tupac. Deal with it.

Strike,

It ain't about Jay Z bitin Pac in the first place.
It's about how low a muthafucka can go in order to expand his fan base.

Borrowing from a muthafucka who never liked you is bad enough, but borrowing from a dead foe is a fuckin shame.
Jay Z should have at least one gram of dignity in his soul....

This reaction shouldn't surprise you or Jay Z himself, he put himself in this situation....

As for Suge's comments about Jarule, Suge never had any dignity either. He contradicts himself with his actions.
He "claims" Pac was his homie, but "sells" Pac's materials to the first foo who puts a price on them.
I have real homies myself, you will never see one of their mothers taking me to court for what ever reason....

There were a grip of disses on until the end of time but afeni took them all off to preserve "pacs image". That some bullshit. As long as she has say to what pac material is released you ain't never gonna hear the original versions. Instead you'll hear remixes with people like....lil mo.. :dead:

You say he can't come up with new concepts like he done made every album he had off of Tupac. My point is every one is trippin because Pac didn't like Jay-Z. So what. Mtume doesn't like his music sampled period but wasn't know one trippin when BIG did Juciy or when Bosko freaked Hip Dip skipped a beat for Doin Dirt Bad. To me it is all the same thing. Samples and the whole nine. I guess Nas bit Pac when he sampled that Fuck Jay-Z part for ether right? I have seen more disrespect from people that every one on here just loves. Yukmouth still ballin. I don't recall ever hearing Pac do a song with Yuk. But Yuk acts like they was just the two closest people on earth. Master P bit Pac foreal and Yuk and them was talkin about P and No Limit but they ain't no better than P and them sayin Pacs name on damn near every song. Then Yuk named his damn album Thug Lord!
And really I don't see the reason everyone is in an uproar over this ONE song. It's not like Jay is stealing your music or anything from anyone you even know so why is every one trippin.
How come no one said shit about Daz doing stuff on that Eazy-E album? Eazy didn't like the dogg pound. So it is back to the REAL REASON people are trippin, Because they don't like Jay-Z and they have Pac on a pedestal.

@ MR. STRIKE

Why you stickin up for JAY Z so tough then? If people wanna hate on em let em. Cuz when people give it up for PAC, there's always some fakers out there who says, "quit dickriding PAC". If JAY Z is one of ya favorites, so be it but if PAC is other peoples favorite, then let em ride!!!

It is not really about Jay-Z and Tupac, I just don't quite understand why everyone is so mad that Jay Remade that song. Rap is built off of other peoples music period so why is it different when it comes to Tupac? I guess I don't fully grasp the concept. Music is music period so why trip about it. I like Tupac but I am not about to stop listening to Jay or BIG or Nas or any of then cats that he hated simply because Pac hated them. If people are closed minded to what kind of music other people are making they are missing out on alot of great music. Especially when they dislike it because a man that passed away 6 years ago had beef with them 6 YEARS AGO.
