UNITY....IF you ask ANY Bay Area artist what they think is holdin the Bay back, they will tell you its the gross lack of UNITY in the Bay Area...Too many rappers, not enough fans....everyone wants you to think that they are hotter than someone else, and don't realize that all it takes is for one person to blow to bring attention back to the Bay.

^^^ And this is positive how???

What do you expect if someone asks for an opinion on a message board??

Let's fix this problem once and for all...

OK everybody from now on, positive opinions only please. If someone posts some music, no matter how wack something is say something good about it so not to hurt a grown man's feelings. :hurt:

Kinda contradictin yourself there. You complain that people want to rap to make money but you're also complainin about it ruining the 'hustle' which (in my experience) has always been about money.

Charging for features is why there is no more unity. Almost all the cats that were "united" back in the day are all chargin us new cats to be on our shit today. I have no problem with doing business, but you ask why no unity, because everybody wants to get paid. I know there is a lot of whack shit that comes out of the bay, but the tight shit is what makes this movement so special. The biggest haters in the bay are the ones speakin on shit they know nothing about.

2Pac was REAL....cats need to use him as a guide, because too much bullshit's comin out these days. Cats are too hard to love others, too hard to cry, too gangsta to say on film or wax that Prison is NOT the place for ANYBODY!!

Cats NEED to focus on what 2Pac did because cats forgot, cats need to realize there's more to life and art than getting shot at/arrested/dying, and they need to realize that, the more REAL you are with your music, the more people will pay attention. The majority of your listeners in the U.S. can't relate to what a lot of bay cats rap about, cause a lot of it is one sided. Once cats become well rounded artists, it's over...but until then, cats NEED to look @ 2Pac because he was what this music is SUPPOSED to be.

i aint gonna lie i do HATE some of the bay's rappers. if a rapper sucks, what makes u think i want him reppin the bay. i got bay love but the bay made itself fall off, sadly its our fault. sometimes i wonder if some of these rappers are really hearing themselves.

whatever im through. niggas just need to look at the bigger picture

people talkin about half the music comin out the bay is wack but the fact is the majority of music coming out nationwide is wack as fuck so that aint sayin nuthin. the past few years the tracks from the yay shit all over mainstream playlists. ya'll act like these cats from everywhere else thats gettin shine right now is actually nice.... i feel like Federation had the potential to blow but if you look at they sales locally the shit was terrible whereas in the south niggas damn near goin platinum on they own turf. why you think 40 out there?... im waitin to see what this album gon do...
