Accepting an explanation by someone proven to be untrustworthy is a sign of a feeble mind.. for it takes effort to process thought and would require thinking for yourself... for a neo con and blind followers like yourself, the best question is the question that isnt asked... my condolences too your self thought..
I don't accept the Bush explanation. The explanataion for why it happened lies in Arab lore and the Arab media. There were signs that it was coming far before 9/11. I doubt you have ever read Al-Ahram, As'ad Abu Khalil, or others. The culture that promotes and condones the actions of UBL and Al-Qaeda has existed for decades among the political left in the Middle East, especially in Suadi Arabia.

I do believe Usama + Al Qaeda are responsible.

Good links to Arab commentaries in English:

http://weekly.ahram.org.eg/index.htm

http://angryarab.blogspot.com

http://english.aljazeera.net

Al Qaeda editorials and periodicals used to be available at www.alNeda.net before it was taken down.

http://www.jihadonline.net/ is a huge directory of organizations and cuases supporting Islamist movements, some vanilla, some actively involved.

Sites in Arabic you often have to rely on translation or commentary to understand...many of the links and resources I have used have since been moved or taken down, but those links are a good start.
