Cher and/or her bigtime producers were the first to make the antares plug-in known in american pop music. That shit was free for anyone to download though so I'm sure there were thousands of songs before that used the technology. thats how I take it.

I downloaded the Jamie Foxx CD for my girl the other day, and I listened through it, as far as a top 40 kinda CD, and with the autotune I typically dont care for, but whatever...Its a pretty good CD though, pretty catchy and J Foxx isnt a bad singer.
