I just can't fuckin' stand going to the movies anymore. People are so rude and annoying. They think that they are the only ones in there, that they are the only ones who paid damn near $10 to see the movie. Then when you catch them on their rudeness, they get an attitude with you.
Most likely you are going to have someone sitting near you talking. You can tell them to be quiet, which is what I usually do. But they usually just pretend not to hear you. I don't want to walk out and find someone working there because I don't want to miss the movie. I think I need to just say "Fuck the law and a lawsuit" and just beat the shit out of the person.
Also, the person right next to you will talk on their cell phone. Right now the movie theater corporations are trying to get permission to install something in their theaters that would block the use of cell phones inside the building. I really hope they do.
But the last, and most common, are the people that bring their little bratty snot-faced kids to an R-rated movie at 10:00 at night. First of all, why aren't your kids in bed already? Second, why are the kids seeing an R-rated movie? And third, WHAT THE FUCK EVER HAPPENED TO BABYSITTERS? My parents always used to hire a babysitter for us when they went out. You just find some neighborhood teenager who you know and pay them $5 an hour. But no, people have to bring their kids who can't sit still for five minutes, who talk the whole time and run around. The parents tell their kids to "Shhh", like that will work. We already know that most parents don't have control over their kids.
That is why I rarely go to the movies anymore and just prefer to rent them, unless it is a huge blockbuster movie such as King Kong, then I'll go. But I usually try to go to the movies at or before 11:00 a.m. on Saturday before all of the people wake up and decide to go to the movies.
