a lot of these newer cats simply took the idea and ran with it

exactly what i said in my other post....listen to what Dre was talking about like 2 to 3 years ago and listen to what everyone in the Bay is talking about today. It's the same thing. Almost everyone is biting off of Dre including 40.
its some cats that are doing their own thing like Quinn, Mess, Jacka, Mob Figaz but a mostly everyone is sounding like Dre using his lingo and shit

As of right know the 2 bay artist that i can really see get nation wide attention would be Balance, and The Team. They got the delivery that i think is easier for people outside of California to listen to
true, sometimes artist forget to make music that can be heard outside of the perimeters that it comes from

at the same time you can keep it real, and don't have to alter your style or try and be like someone just to try and sell records to a bigger audience

3 words..
keep it real

well only the true listeners know how shit is now and days and how it really went down

whats funny is a lot of kids say that they don't even listen to mac dre anymore, i heard that from one of my homies lil bros.

i asked him what they listen to now he said mr fab, e40 keak da sneak etc

its blunt they think mac dres music was a 'faze' now all this new shit is taking over but one thing still remains and thats none of these fools could put out as many dope albums as md

True, i agree with alot of things being said, i listened to mac dre before he passed away and continue to everyday. But alot of the new stuff being put out is influenced by the oldler generation of bay rap. And for people outside the bay they have to get hooked on the new stuff and then get into the older stuff. In the bay its easier because of the resources we have. Me personally i lean toward more of the older generation bay. A classic is a classic and that cant change. Same as the rappers themselves. I think Mac Dre will always be looked to as a role model for bay music, the way he put himself out there and stayed true and but cd after cd after cd of nothing but slappers, but just because theres a newer generation of rappers coming into the game doesnt mean were going to throw away the past.

ain't no one 'dick riding' mac dre homozlice

peeps been representing mac dre and his legacy that blew up (the real hyphy movement) before and after he was MURDERED

don't forget he's not here or breathing air so he can't speak out on anything thats happening or taking place in reality

i thank all the people that keep reppin mac dre to the fullest and that support his work by speaking out on shit...

true legends never die

nothing more than that, you can go back to listening to your favorite music now

p.s. one persons death or word can affect a nation as a whole

think about that

whats a homozlice!? im not going to even respond to that square shit but your not getting my point. Let the nigga rest in peace maine. all this dick riding talk about mac dre this and that, who cares about that shit. That nigga did what he had to do on this earth and now he's gone. Everyone is put here for their purpose so if he was murdered or slipped on a bananna peel and died he did what he was supposed to do. And if he was just supposed to be the first spark in the hifey movement so the bay can eat then he's alwayz gon be remembered. talking about mac dre all the time aint gon do nothing for his legacy. what you can do is think about what u can do for the hyphy movement, thats whats gon keep his legacy alive!

real talk it seems like tha Macs death made folks recognize "all" of the bay's talent. I remember niggaz not even knowing who the Mac was back when I was in High School and I would play them some shyt and they would say shyt like I don't feel this nigga. Now everybody knocks him, I think he had to go to make people appreciate what we had in our own backyard.

lol, by doing that you'd be joining the 10 other fools on the bus

get my drift?

i'm just saying the game would be diff today if md still had things in effect, we all end up dying but some lives end quicker than others. the good die early and the evil continue to live on. gods power

so thats why you see us typing this shit, i ain't gonna go around wearing stunna glasses, poppin pills, trying to thizz dance and act a fool to some mac dre music like some other peeps might be doing

but i will keep it real on the effect he had on people these days na mean, its kinda fucked up he aint hear to control the way kids are acting and shit and most rappers are just continueing to act a fool and make shit worse

it really just hurts the whole bay area as 1 (karmatic)

and you wonder why so much hate be floating around the boards. shits going haywire. the industry cats don't know what to do, they just know what to sell

some new real rappers with faith need to step up and start layin down some real facts and bars

u really sound dumb. what niggaz been rapping about cats been doing. all thats happening now is that squares are catching on. i can speak for oakland cuz thats where i stay and can tell u young cats been acting ignorant, been popping pills, been doing all the shit mac dre was talking about. kids out here been killing each other been grinding and shit. its nothing new. so if mac dre was alive it would be no different. rappers are alwayz gonna to act a fool cuz they are hood niggaz! mac dre was never rapping about no conscious mind type shit, was rapping about what hood niggaz do, grind, pimp hoes, do drugs and shoot each other. mac dre wouldn't have switched anything up if he was alive he would still be rapping about his life experience.

dre had the charisma & the raps, i don't see others being able to do what he did right now. there are some cats that have come tight lately, but lets see where they'll be in 2-3 more albums. not knocking the current shit, cuz i like it, but let's see the long term.

true that this movement ain't the same without Dre. I left out the Hyphy in this movement because I think the hyphy will at one point hold artists back. But yes Dre is missing...along with many many other bay artists that have passed.
