^^ lmao, that was the funniest shit ever. A huge game, nationally televised, and everyone gets to see how fucking crazy Z Unit is. Ive never seen him go that far before, he usually just yells at himself and thorws some shit once in awhile.

O perez, has the dopest pickoff move since Bob McClure, I remember the game he got called for a balk cuz he stood with his leg in the air for about 5 seconds.

I wanna see Bammer & Mclean keep goin at it, I love a good baseball argument

^^ thats true, but both of em have shown that they can be dominant when healthy.

Ive seen so many guys in HS and college that I thought were some of the best players alive that never even ended up getting past A Ball

What's funnier than that is I've played with guys I was better then, and they went in the 13th round on potential. That's why as a high schooler or College player(who's good)you should shave before every game scouts will be watching, so try to look younger. They don't want you to be fully developed if your only throwing 88-89 mph.But if you see a kid who looks like he's only 16 and he's throwing that hard, they will draft you on potential...seeing as you might add 3 more mph or so.
Alot of kids do develop later. My brothers best friend was a good player in high school, but was skinny as hell.He went to play CC ball and then excepted a scholorship to Nebraska and became a Sporting News All-American.Still people doubted him,but they did'nt know he put on about 25 lbs of muscle.Eventually he played pro ball and got his coffee for the Rangers. Now he's a Trivial Pursuit question.

IF PLAYING ONE FULL SEASON AND HAVING 52 CAREER DECISIONS IS HISTORY,THEN PUT PUJOLS IN THE HALL OF FAME NOW!

prior was hailed as the BEST EVER pitcher to come out of the college ranks.
AND BEN MCDONALD WAS BEFORE HIM???DRIEFORT???

while beckett was being hailed by most all scouts as the best pitcher out of the HS ranks and the next coming of roger clemens and/or nolan ryan. beckett showed what he is capable of doing when healthy in the WS. only thing is he is rarely healthy. remember the playoff game against the cubs, how many times did Beckett hit 100MPH in that game or his performance in the WS that year???SOUNDS LIKE TODD VAN POPPEL,AND ROGER SALKELD..WHO?I CAN'T DISCREDIT HIS WORLD SERIES,BUT IT WAS 2 WEEKS IN BASEBALL IN THE GRAND SCHEME

my source for this info was from baseballamerica.com scouts.
NEATO

o perez had a good season but wasnt know before this season. same thing happened with cardinal pitchers bud smith and/or rick ankiel. you have got to remember them right?

BUD SMITH HAD ONE GOOD OUTING,WHY IS HE BEING MENTIONED.HIS CAREER ERA HOVERED AROUND 5.00,ANKIEL IS A WHOLE NOTHER SITUATION,HE'S GOT MACKEY SASSER DISEASE.ALSO,THESE GUYS ARE KNOWN BECAUSE THEY ARE AMERICANS WHO WERE HIGH PICKS(4TH&2ND).PEREZ WAS AN AMATUER FREE AGENT FROM MEXICO,AND NOT EXACTLY ON ALOT OF RADARS TO THE AVERAGE BASEBALL FAN.

THERE YA GO BUZZ

Damn, I got fucked on that looking younger thing. my only superstitions was to not shave until after a game (started after I hit 2 jacks on a friday, shaved, and went out, and went 7-7 in a doubleheader the next day, lol)

Do you know who Bob McClure is? Im real close with his son Jake, who was the 3rd ranked player in California (Behind Xavier Nady & CC Sabathia) going into his senior year, he ended up breaking his wrist playing bball over the summer. He couldnt swing right-handed anymore because of the injury so he figured hed just hit left handed and be a slap hitter. He ended up leading the league in hitting and got a full ride to Cal-Poly. Then he flunked out, went to JuCo for a couple, and now he tests video games for EA Sports.

He was a LH specialist, played for I think 23 years. If theres an old school announcer thats doing a game that Petitt is pitching they mention him once and awhile, cuz they always say McClure is the only player to have a better move to first than Pettite.

I hung em up last year, all the injuries just piled up till I couldnt do it anymore... 16" softball here I come, lol

I was trippin,I thought dude was your friends brother.I was gonna ask if his dad played in the show,so yes I've heard of him,I probably got his cards somewhere.Softballs coo to me,aslong as it's competitive tournaments, that Parks league shit with old men is boo-boo.I like playing against the younger steroid tourney teams, who never played the real game. It's comedy how serious these 6'5 230lbs mutherfuckers take it.

16" is fun as hell, I never herd of it till I moved out here to the midwest, I dont think its that big on the west coast. Im prolly gonna join a team this summer for the hell of it, should be fun.
