Guys, I recently bought CBTS and TW and TW2K. Now I have a feeling they are not the real ones. Any tips (serious ones) on how to tell the real ones from the fake. Please, and thanks.

if u got em on ebay or in a store recently, theyre more than likely the rereleases

the original worst 2k has a clear tray and says tecca nina down the side, the rerelease has a black tray.

as far as the other 2 albums, i think theres a slight color difference from the originals.. i aint bothered fuckin with the rereleases.. maybe someone else got more info.

If the album cover is harder to read, or isn't clear, and if the insert is a piece of paper and not glossy paper, and if the cd is a CD-R it probably is a bootleg.

I bought CBTS, off Ebay, it came sealed but the spine was black.

LOL, so it looks like I've got the bootleg. I thought so. I turned the cd over, and in the middle (the clear part) said phatfx.com. So, I thought so. Thanks all!

Here is a honest response:

The Calm Before the Storm ORIGINAL is a very distinct GREEN colored DISC with crisp orange/yellow lettering and easy to read text. The rerelease has a BLACK colored DISC with green tint and the text isn't as crisp or easy to read.

Worst 2K

They were right above. The original has TECCA NINNA on the back cd insert down the side of the cd spine. The rerelease doesn't have this at all and has the normal black cd spined case. If you open up the cd and it doesn't say, "Tech N9ne introduces the Hooligans" underneath the cd, its the rerelease.

I can't really tell by the other pics, but for sure, the pic of (The Worst 2K) is the OG RELEASE...........,BUT..............the dude has like 4 of 'em??????????? (is that the right pic of what he actually has?????)

The others, for only that amount @ BUY IT NOW............???????????????? (your call, wouldn't expect them to be OG RELEASE)

ALL ON EBAY RIGHT NOW...................

Man having a re-release aint no better, about a good looking bootleg.
wish 2 of my didnt get stolen, piss at my brother for leaving it in his ride and it was a lil after they stop making them 2

Yep, Celcius also rereleased. Original has Tech N9ne down the side of the cd spine in black text with white background. Rerelease once again, black spined. There doesn't seem to be as many of these rereleases out there though.
