HOW TO SHARE DLC

THIS WAS WRITTEN FOR THE PS3, BUT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO DO THE SAME THING ON THE 360 USING SIMILAR STEPS TO THE ONES BELOW

i decided to make a quick post on how to share DLC with other consoles since there may be some people who dont know how

this can be used to share downloaded content e.g. map packs or downloadable games with friends

for those who dont know

HOW TO DO THIS

1) Make a new user account on your PS3 (not an online account, just the user account which you log into at the very start as soon as you switch on your PS3)

FOR THE SAKE OF THIS GUIDE WE WILL CALL IT 'ACCOUNT X'

2) Log in to ACCOUNT X, then sign in to the PSN ID of whichever one of the homies downloaded the content, using their email address and password

3) Once you are signed in as them, head to the playstation store

4) In the top right hand corner you will see some small icons, select the one which says 'downloads'

5) Find the DLC you want in the list and download it to your PS3 then install it

6) The content will now be available to you on your PS3

DO NOT DELETE ACCOUNT X AFTER DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING THE CONTENT OTHERWISE THE DLC WILL NOT WORK

I've been doing this for almost a year on PS3... thought everybody already knew this shit...

you can only do it with a certain amount of different users though, I think it's 5 if I remember correctly...
