Disagree all you want but we don't want the Bay to become a fuckin comic strip
Co-sign, though I figure cats think thats they angle to exposure, if they stick at it that could well be the case, its a movement, but like you say, becoming a comic strip ain't gonna sit well with having serious credibility and respect in the rap game, plus its gonna go pop like any other fad and die.
On Haji being on Thizz, I think they look at what Dre did in so far as being a character and getting a cult following from people outside of gangsta rap fans because of that and see Haji accomplishing something like that, they would only put dude on if they saw a money route.
Even the most diehard Dre fan will admit that when he was hella thizzed out on some tracks his flow wasn't really going, but he was funny and that made up for it, and I figure they're looking to run that gameplan with this dude from start to finish and see if some kids jump on it.
The trouble is Dre established himself as a rapper first, had credibility and was adaptable. Haji Springer has just appeared like you say on some cartoon type shit and with no credibility and is just trying to run with a Dre type character act without anyone giving a fuck who dude was in the first place.
