So yea.

I moved all my music from the folder it was in previously to a new one.

Only problem is, the new one only displays, file date/time, size, etc.

I've tried setting the folder to a 'music' folder in Folder View options...no dice.

Anyone know how to manually make a folder list 'music' file attributes in Explorer?

win xp instructions:

right click on the folder itself, click on properties. then click on the customize tab on the top of the new little window that came up.

then there should be a drop down in a section called "What Kind of Folder Do You Want?" or something similar. Select Music (if you have more than one album or artist); or to be more specific, you can select Music Artist or Music Album.

After you do this, in the folder itself, you want to right click anywhere in the blank area to select View, then Detail (or Detailed).
