I want to know if the shipping charges for CDs at the Post Office has gone up? Because I sure as hell know that the shipping charges on Ebay are going up. What the fuck is this? $4 to ship a CD. $5 TO SHIP A CD! That's a rip off. I know for a fact that it only costs $2.25 to mail a CD, and that's including the $1 you spend on a padded envelope. If you want more money for your CD, just make the price higher. I get all happy bidding on a CD for $2 and then I look and see a $10 shipping charge. You don't need to send it first class or Priority. Just send it regular, it only takes about one day longer. Muthaphukkas are getting too greedy on their shipping. Okay, I'm done bitching.

depending on what company it is, handling costs can be higher....time costs money as well, if you really break it down, the amount of time it takes to go to the post office, gas money, wear and tear on vehicle, shipping costs, shipping materials, etc......if you know the shipping prior to, I dont really see why someone can complain about shipping costs...I know some of it is kind of high on ebay but who am I to say what kind of handling costs a person incurs

thats from a business standpoint...it doesnt justify anything, I charge $2.50 shipping

i charge more on shipping because I use a shit load of gas miles traveling all over the damn state to raid all the stores, time + gas = people got to pay more for it....lets be honest, rare cds is a service, not alot of people can provide, so the people that do, they have to take into account other things than just the flat rate the PO charges

Trever is right. If the cd was Britney Spears ONE MORE TIME, shipping could be a $1.00, noone would care. Rare cds is a service. Where else are you going to pick up this stuff. As long as shipping is explicitly stated, there shouldn't be a problem. I charge $3.00. I think that is fair for the labor involved in getting the cd to ebay and then sold on ebay.
